Exploring Straja Resort was another adventure in itself! Whether we were enjoying the modern ski facilities or hiking through the pristine mountain trails, every moment was a reminder of the region’s allure. And let’s not forget the Cross of Straja—its illumination at night was a poignant reminder of the stories and sacrifices that shape this land. Nestled in the heart of the JIU Valley, we encountered the fabled Devil Waterfall. Surrounded by ancient trees, the mist danced around us as we learned about its origins—formed by the tears of a heartbroken sorceress whose lover was taken by dark forces. The story brought a haunting beauty to this breathtaking cascade. Our adventure continued at the stunning Bănița Gorges, where dramatic landscapes met ancient tales. Walking through this natural wonder, we felt the presence of history and nature intertwined. We also had the chance to immerse ourselves in the local culture and wildlife, learning about the rich biodiversity of “The Wolves’ Land” The lore surrounding wolves and other wildlife, intertwined with Romanian legends, brought a sense of mystique to our journey. 🌟 Lupeni City 🚠 Another WORLD 🐺 An Enchanting Journey to The Wolves’ Land 🐺
